Maintenance tips

Your watch is an everyday accessory that you can keep and wear for many years if you take good care of it.

To help you with this, you will find here our recommendations for taking care of your timepiece.

Functioning

Simply wearing your watch will make it work.

To advance the mechanism, you simply need to either wind it mechanically (by turning the crown upwards) or by making movements with it.

In cases of reduced activity or when the watch is worn infrequently, the movements may prove insufficient for effective winding.

Change the date

If your automatic watch has a date function, we advise against changing the date when the hour hand is between 9pm and 3am because the date change system is initiated by the mechanism.

If you need to change the date during this period, we advise you to change the time by advancing the time, at the risk of damaging your movement.

revise it

Approximately every 5 years

You can have your watch serviced when you notice a change in its behavior (decreasing power reserve, reduced accuracy, etc.).

These adjustments are made directly through our after-sales service.

protect her

Watches are sensitive to shocks. We advise you to remove your watch for all sporting activities to avoid any jolts.

Avoid all impacts, even though the sapphire crystal is designed to prevent damage to your dial, it could have an impact on the mechanism.

keep it waterproof

We advise against exposing your watch to water, for example in the shower, as the heat can cause the seals to expand.

If you use your watch for swimming or diving (10ATM), we recommend having the water resistance checked every 2 years.

Ensure the crown is screwed down securely before each exposure to water, otherwise the mechanism may be damaged. After swimming in seawater, rinse your watch with fresh water.

Avoid magnetic waves

Avoid exposure to sources of magnetic waves (electronic devices, induction hobs, medical devices, etc.).

This could magnetize the movement, and cause erratic behavior of your watch.

These waves can degrade the operation and accuracy of your watch.

If your watch is magnetized, the most common sign is a significant and sudden gain in time. In this case, it is necessary to entrust the watch to us for demagnetization.

A bracelet that suits you

We offer several bracelets in steel or leather.

Leather bracelets are the most delicate, sensitive to water and heat.
